Just a few of the comments from our previous customers

We know that buying goods using the Internet can be a bit daunting and with virtually every other shop site out there telling you how good their own shopping experience is, we decided that it just wasn't enought to say the same thing. The best judges of our service are our previous customers and with that in mind, we thought it would be a great idea to let customers comment on our service in their own words. What follows are unedited excerpts from emails and letters that we have received over the past few months. For those people that have taken the time to write in and comment, we thank you very much!

"The Henselite Tiger 2 bowls set arrived today, within 24 hours as promised. I am delighted with your prompt service. Combine that with Julian's friendly helpful advice and in my opinion you can't get a better place to buy bowls, or accessories. It makes such a difference to trade with someone who not only understands bowls, but clearly loves the game. Why buy from sports shops who often have neither interest or knowledge of bowls, when you can buy from Julian. This is my first purchase here. I will certainly purchase again when the need arises."

"Now it is not everyday that I go looking for lawn bowls to buy. But because it is my mums 65th birthday and that is what she wanted I thought it would be a brilliant way to get out of being imaginative!

First off, I will say that there are not many shops online that sell Lawn Bowls so my choice was limited. However, I did come across Julian Haines Bowls more than once. After surfing their easy website, I found what I was looking for. Sterling Slimline 00. (No idea what any of that means by the way!). £99.00 plus delivery. The day after I sent my order through I received several phone calls from them. I say several, because I did not answer my phone for all but one calls. They contacted me to let me know that they did not have any of the bowls in stock and that they had spoken to their supplier, who is based in Australia, and had been informed that the bowls would only be in the UK at the end of June beginning of July. Now I will say that my original request was that they be delivered at my mums house before or on her birthday which is mid June. They offered to send a equivalent, or a voucher to her as a replacement and apologised. I decided to stick to my orginal order and opted to wait for them. I received numerous emails to let me know the status of the order and was kept up to date. Two days ago I received an email to let me know that the bowls would be at my mums house the next day. And YES, they were. Payment was taken out of my account on day of shippping.

Would I use Julian Haines Bowls again? Without a shadow of a doubt. I just wish that every company I have dealt with would be as efficient and transparent as they are."

"Earlier this week i contacted Julian with regards to 3/4 size bowls for our juniors whose hands are to small to play with 00. Our treasurer sent the cheque off on Tuesday and by Friday the bowls were here. The bowls have now been used by two of our junior members and they are an excellent bowl for the Juniors to learn on, They had been really struggling with the 00 and were only able to reach short jacks. However with the arrival of the new bowls they are able to play any length jack and are no longer losing their control due to being able to hold the bowls comfortably. Some of the Senior members have been and used them(Kids and New Toys )

By having these I can only see it encouraging our junior members and who knows they may ask their friends if they fancy giving bowls a try.
